For animals, we build cat and dog shelters, as well as a sanctuary for other animals and wildlife. A place where they can find love, care, and a chance at finding a permanent home.
For people, we create domes and facilities that will provide shelter and essential resources like water, food, and other vital support people in need.
For hearts, we will create initiatives where people can meet, and where community can bloom and grow, so each person – local or expat – feels at home.

Cyprus is magical. It has strong traditions of community, farming, and family - but at the same time, it’s facing real challenges with animal welfare and social support.
By creating a sanctuary here, we can fill a gap that desperately needs care, while building on the island’s natural abundance and beauty and always leaving nature as untouched as possible, so the sanctuary grows with the land.

We are building animal sanctuary – a safe and lasting home for animals who have nowhere else to go.
This includes building dedicated dog and cat shelters, where abandoned and mistreated pets can find safety and care. Our vision goes further: a sanctuary for other animals such as horses, donkeys, and Cyprus’ wildlife, who are too often forgotten in the conversation.
This land will be more than houses and fences – it will be a space of protection, healing, and dignity, where animals can live in safety and people can see what compassion in action truly means.

Sanara Sanctuary changes this by becoming a living base for both daily life and crisis support. On ordinary days, it will host community events, educational workshops, and family gatherings, giving people a place to reconnect with each other and with nature.
But when disaster strikes, the sanctuary transforms: igloo domes become temporary housing, resources are shared, water and supplies can support first responders, and families in need find safety.
By blending everyday connection with readiness for crisis, the sanctuary builds the trust and resilience that make a community stronger for the future.

Sanara Sanctuary is the development of a multi-purpose base in Lasa, Paphos that rescues and rehomes dogs, cats, and wildlife. Beyond animal care, it will serve as a hub for community events, education, and crisis support - a place built to protect, connect, and strengthen both people and animals.
WHERE
Located in Lasa, Paphos, Cyprus, chosen for its natural surroundings and central position on the island. The land offers the space and resources to create a long-term refuge that serves local shelters, families, and the wider community.
WHEN
The first stage begins in September 2025, with charity registration and land purchase. Every contribution now directly drives the start of construction and ensures the sanctuary can open its doors step by step.
